Changes to Coastal maternity services from next week

Changes to maternity services on the North-West Coast will take effect from Monday with maternity services being centralised at the North-West Regional Hospital in Burnie. However, antenatal services will still be provided at the Mersey Community Hospital at Latrobe. Martin Agatyn spoke to co-director of Maternity and Midwifery Services Mandy Compton about the changes and also reflected on some of the history of maternity services in the Mersey region . . .
