Changing Your Lens For Freedom

from Fierce · host Katelyn Swiatek

Each of us view circumstances in our lives through a lens or lenses that we have set up due to things that we believe or experiences that we have had and set a belief to. Consider these lenses like an identity or a reoccurring narrative that we play in our heads. These lenses are the filters through which we see all circumstances. That is why one circumstance may negatively affect one person and not another. Some circumstances my trigger you and not me. So, how can we bend or shape these lenses so that circumstances that have destroyed us in the past no longer have the power to do so? Join me as I discuss this topic with my friend and nanny, Annalese Edwards. She brings us her life story and how it has shaped the way she sees the world at the young age of 21.  To connect with Annalese, you can find her on Instagram @annalesegrace. Thank you for Miles Minnick for allowing me to use his song as my intro/outro. Be sure to check Miles out on Instagram @miles.minnick.  And please, be sure to SHARE THE SHOW.
