Hello friends! I hope you had a very happy holiday! You might have seen the name Chaparelle around over the last few months. They're currently on the cover of Austin culture magazine, Tribeza. They're playing the Austin Blues Festival next year. They released their gorgeous debut album, Western Pleasure to great acclaim. they played Red Rocks with Charley Crockett. A lot has happened for this country duo and couple since they were on the show in April. Below are my original notes.   Indie-pop star, Zella Day, and Indie-rock star, Jesse Woods from Austin-based country band, Chaparelle, are my guests for episode 1479! Their debut album, the gorgeous, Western Pleasure just came out on Friday and is available on all streaming services and vinyl. They're about to hit the road in May through the rest of the year. Go to chaparellemusic.com for tour dates, music, and more. We have a great conversation about falling in love, writing songs together, starting a band with a focus, the documentary being made about them falling in love and making their first album, touring, how they handle emotions in public, and much more.
