SERMON SERIES: CHAPEL CONF’24 SATURDAY, SEMINAR 1

SPEAKER: Charlotte Curran, Christian Fellowship Church, Belfast

Chapel is the Young Adult Ministry of St Marks Church and we exist for 3 main reasons:

1 - To pursue God together in community, making sure every young adult finds a place to belong in the Kingdom of God

2 - To make sure that every young adult steps into all that God has for them

3 - To make sure every person gets to hear the Gospel at least once.

We want to explore what it looks like to live as Christs Ambassadors on the earth today. (2 Cor 5:20).

We want to focus in on Him, and we know in doing so we will become more like Him.

What does it look like to live like Jesus would in 2024, and how do we pursue that together.

We're more than a church; we're a family across five locations in Dublin City, Ireland, united in faith and love of Jesus. Our mission is simple: to help you relate deeply with God and others, reach your potential, and rise in your calling. Explore our podcast episodes, and we look forward to meeting you in person at our Sunday services at 10 a.m. and 11.45 a.m. at 42a Pearse St, Dublin.

Welcome home!

Mark Twain's lively tale of the scrapes and adventures of boyhood is set in St. Petersburg, Missouri, where Tom Sawyer and his friend Huckleberry Finn have the kinds of adventures many boys can imagine: racing bugs during class, impressing girls, especially Becky Thatcher, with fights and stunts in the schoolyard, getting lost in a cave, and playing pirates on the Mississippi River. One of the most famous incidents in the book describes how Tom persuades his friends to do a boring, hateful chore for him: whitewashing (i.e., painting) a fence. This was the first novel to be written on a typewriter.
