Order of Service: - Prelude - Prayer for the New Year: P: Almighty and everlasting God, from whom comes down every good and perfect gift: C: We thank you for all Your benefits, temporal and spiritual, given to us in this past year. As we enter this new year, preserve us in Your grace. Defend us from all danger and adversity according to Your will. We are grateful for the many students You have drawn to this campus from a variety of nations and peoples. Be with those in our midst who are far from home. May the light of Your truth shine brightly among us and in us throughout the year. By Your Holy Spirit, grant us an increase of knowledge in the things of Your Kingdom. Stir up our hearts to bear each other’s burdens in Christian love as we live in the glow of Your Son’s incarnation. We ask this all in His saving name.
