Elliott rules on a situation where a player checks then says “I fold, you win.” then shows his cards. Much to everyone’s surprise, they turn out to be the winner. Is the “I fold” comment binding in this situation? Patrick and I break down a hand that I almost fold then end up playing. Maybe I should have just let it go.
