The tall, black-haired beauty looked skyward, a fettered smile tugging a corner of her lip. “Great Althalos, you’re relentless!” Kessa’s voice reached a high note. “It’s hunger that’s relentless!” “In your case, incessant, too.” Slipping in an apologetic grin ere withdrawing her dagger, Kessa asked, “Shall I go a-hunting?”
