Chapter 13-14 |The Book of Judges: From Destruction to Deliverance

Nearly 20% of the book is dedicated to Samson’s story, which begins in chapter 13. But before diving into his life, we reflect on the lesser-known judges mentioned in chapter 12—leaders whose names the world may forget, but whose faithfulness is remembered by God. We explore the powerful truth that even when we feel invisible, God knows and remembers those who revere Him.As we move into the story of Samson, we are reminded of the recurring cycle of sin and deliverance among the Israelites, reflecting a pattern we often see in our own lives. Despite Israel’s repeated disobedience, God’s mercy leads to their deliverance time and time again. This episode challenges us to recognize the dangers of self-promotion and to value being known by God, rather than seeking recognition from the world.
