Elton was about to set off on a huge European tour but he took Taylor's advice on board and asked his management company to keep Saturday, May 19 1984 free.Then the third round draw gave Watford a very difficult trip to local rivals Luton Town. They'd not at Kenilworth Road for almost 20 years.And when the Hornets were 2-0 down inside half an hour, Wembley was just about the furthest thing from their minds.
