Chapter 2 Discussion (featuring Elijah De Jong)

This is the companion discussion to Ruth chapter 2. In these chapter by chapter discussions, Elijah and I will discuss the narrative and theology of the book of Ruth. In this episode, we explore the character of Boaz as a man after God’s own heart, God’s providence in the “happenstance” of Ruth’s faithfulness to God’s provision, the Old Testament laws of gleaning, what Boaz sees in Ruth, and how God’s "hesed"--His loving-kindness--bursts forth in this chapter.
