Chapter 3: Concrete Business

Emmett the shamus unspools the thread of the treacherous and enigmatic world in which he finds himself in Chapter 3 of 'A Mobster's Midrash'. After being sideswiped by a mysterious truck from 'Eye on the Throne, LLC', our investigator takes a deep dive into the realm of the concrete. As Emmett winds us through the digressive world of his intellect, the listener gets a glimpse of what makes him tick tick tick. He guides us through his abstract musings about the concrete world that just won't let a body be, actuarial science, the construction of the Lincoln Tunnel, but eventually remembers to take us from one side to the other.  Emerging from a harrowing journey through the Lincoln Tunnel, the caravan of underworld travelers makes its way along the seamy streetscape of Hel's Kitchen and up to the wilderness of Central Park. In the psychedelic trip through Midtown and the park, the lines blur between time, crime, and music. Let go and dance along with the eccentric rhythms of Moishie and the Tribe.
