I am what others think (popularity) • Jesus True Self (p. 80-82) Developing Your Authentic Self (p. 84-92) “we are so unaccustomed to being our true self that I can seem impossible to know where to begin” • The Holy Spirit empowers us to break free into our true selves (p. 85). 1. Pay Attention to Your Interior in Silence and Solitude “Silence & Solitude are so foundational to emotionally healthy spirituality” 2. Find Trusted Companions “The possibility of self-deception is so great that w/o mature companions we can easily fall into the trap of living in illusions.” 3. Move out of Your Comfort Zone “I was busy, very busy, and dying on the inside” 4.
