Chapter 48: "Requiem for a Welterweight"

Find us at: iTunes Spotify Patreon CW: Discussions of violence, murder, gaslighting, cult worship, racial stereotypes. Also, we discuss the death of Luke Perry, and offer our sincere condolences to his family, friends and the Riverdale cast and crew. We’ve seen worse and better episodes from Riverdale, but things definitely happened this week. Betty’s freaking out about her mom being in a cult while Jughead and Veronica get played for suckers by Gladys Jones. Meanwhile Archie’s trying to find a purpose in boxing, but in predictable Big Dumb Archie fashion manages to screw that up. And of course, what Doghouse episode wouldn’t be complete with a LOT of issues with the writing for Toni, Cheryl, Kevin, and Josie? It’s all here in this week’s episode of The Doghouse! Macintosh & Maud have started a Patreon! You can sign up now at our $2/month level to get our Doghouse Drive-Thru every Friday after a new Riverdale episode, plus The Chilling Adventures of the Doghouse, a weekly review of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix!
