Chapter 9: The Lorax and the tree

In this episode of Anti Hero Unplugged, I reflect on a powerful lesson from The Lorax by Dr. Seuss: “A tree falls the way it leans. Be careful which way you lean.” I talk about how our attitudes, habits, and choices—big or small—determine the direction we take in life. I share a story about my little brother feeling frustrated with his basketball performance and how what we say can shape our actions and beliefs. I encourage you to be mindful of your everyday decisions, because even the smallest positive or negative choices can lead us down different paths. By leaning into kindness, patience, and intention, we can shape our lives and influence those around us in meaningful ways. Copyright @ 2024 Cecilia Isabel Gonzalez. All rights reserved.
