Chapter Two, Part Ten: Maiden Voyage
from ParaScience Hosted by Infinity Break
“Mister Thornwall, I have dedicated my whole life, my whole adult life, to saving people,” Saint explains to the ship’s concierge when asked what he and two supposed port authority inspectors are doing exploring the abandoned pool inside the Queen Mary. But there may not be anything to save down here beneath the surface. I’d like to take you to Long Beach, California, just as autumn is beginning to fade. The air and ocean are indistinguishably grey and paint a bright canvas against the ocean liners docked in Long Beach Harbor. There are many ships floating here on the peninsula - some are only sleeping until summer, but only the Queen Mary is dead in the water - stationary and rusted. It is decidedly not tourist season. And yet there are plenty of cars parked here on the dock - surrounded by sleeping giants. ParaScience is an actual play, paranormal horror podcast told through Cortex. It is Game Mastered by the disembodied mind of Ben Hamlin with Ezra Kaye as Man in Black Alister McAndrews, Matty Trumbo-Gomes as agnostic exorcist Saint Garcia Flores and Nikki Boylan as conspiracy theorist Jules Ortiz! With a logo by cryptic Terra Bosart and theme by the ethereal Johnny Rinaldo!
