Character Corners Bring Museum Learning to Libraries | Miami News

MODS and Broward County Library launch Character Corners—interactive, hands-on learning hubs for kids up to six and their caregivers, designed to build critical thinking, caring, confidence, and cooperation through play. Inspired by a popular MODS exhibit and funded by Lilly Endowment Inc., these spaces debut in seven main library locations plus rotating Book Nooks across all 36 branches, with story themes changing every three months. Kickoff event: ribbon-cutting on Sept 24 at Fort Lauderdale’s main library—bringing museum-quality character education straight into neighborhoods.
