Charlie Hunnam's Mafia Monster Pitch | Entertainment and Celebrity News

Charlie Hunnam drops a chilling mafia pitch for the next Monster season—centered on Roy DeMeo, a Gambino capo who perfected the “no body, no crime” murder method. Inspired by a podcast detailing his alleged 200+ killings and crew’s car thefts and drug deals, Hunnam sees a haunting contrast between sanctioned mob hits and serial killing for kicks. But creator Ryan Murphy isn’t biting—Hunnam pitched it half-heartedly, and it fizzled. DeMeo’s paranoia, fueled by fears of his own boss, ended tragically in 1983 when his body was found in a trunk. His death triggered a wave of convictions that reshaped organized crime’s landscape. Catch Hunnam now in Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story, streaming on Netflix.
