Charlie James: All right, welcome back to the program. Well, the SAVE America Act, um, even James Carville is saying that the Democrats should pass the SAVE America Act. I want to thank Janice for this, alerting me to this. Well, listen to what he said on a podcast: James Carville: It doesn't make any sense, it—it—it—it doesn't fix anything, but maybe you just go along with it and move to the next thing. Podcast Host: Well James, let me—let me disagree. We have voter ID in most states. Most states have voter ID. What they're trying to do with the so-called SAVE Act is require what they say is proof of citizenship, which is either a birth certificate—which, I don't know, 25... you know, people have a hard... I went a couple years ago, I was going to take a trip overseas, and about 10 days ahead of time, I couldn't find... I—I spent 10 days trying to get my birth certificate. Uh, or—or—or secondly, a passport, which most people don't have. And thirdly, you know, if you're talking about your birth certificate and, you know, you didn't get to keep your maiden name—my wife let me keep mine—if you didn't get to keep your maiden name, you know, you're in trouble. So I think you're absolutely right on voter ID, but we basically have it. James Carville: I—again, it... if we have it, just say, "Okay, pass the law." I mean, I—look, I don't—I think it's... I don't want to pass the SAVE Act, I never had a problem with it. I'm just saying of all the things, people, if every poll shows 75 of voter say we should have some kind of a ID to vote, some state, I don't know what it is, but [expletive] just—just quit fighting it and go along with it and move to the next thing. Charlie James: There you go! I agree with James Carville on this. Now, I don't know who the—who the host is of that podcast that—that Carville was talking to, but I wanted to find out exactly how long it would take for me to get my birth certificate. So I went on and I went through the entire process. Went to the Richmond County, Georgia Vital Records Department, filled out everything right up until it was time to pay. I went right up until the paywall. It took me about two minutes. About two minutes to do. It is just that easy. All these people that are out there saying, "Oh, you can't—you can't get a birth..." Yes, you can! You can absolutely get a—get a... You could... if you live in the county that you were born in, that's even easier. You could—you could have one in about 45 minutes. If you live here in—in—in Greenville, you could drive down to Columbia, order it there, and you'd be back, you know... you could do that right at, you know, just after lunch, be back by dinner. You'd have it all. It is not that hard. These are just excuses that the Democrats are coming up with. It's so easy. And by the way, all of these women that got married and changed their names? Guess what information you had to have to change your name? The same information that would be required for you to register to vote! Ta-da! It's just that simple. Now, this is—this is—this is the way it goes, because the first—the very first argument against this was, "Oh, oh, oh, well, this is going to disenfranchise Black voters." Well, I'm sorry, what? Yeah, it's—it—it—it—it's going to disenfranchise Black voters, because, uh, Black voters don't have ID. Well, that's a bunch of BS! Ami Horowitz went out on the streets and interviewed... it was—it was the darndest interview I've ever seen in my life. He interviewed a bunch of, um, a bunch of white people about voter ID. And he was like, "Hey, do you think you should have to have..." "No, no! No, because it is, uh, it's racist." Because... it really... let me see if I can, um, find this clip, because, I mean, it—it... Just hearing what they said—that Black people—Black people didn't have, they didn't have access to computers. Black people didn't have access, you know, they—they—they didn't know how to use computers, or there were, uh, you know, some.. ...
