Charlie James: All right, it is here. Primary Day 2.0! Really, really 3.0 because we had—we had the primary, then we had the runoff, now we got the second primary, and we’ll probably have a second runoff coming up. But the polls opened at 7:00 this morning. I would love for you guys to tell me: what did the voter turnout look like in your district when you went out and voted? Now, I’ve already seen a lot of people on the text line, they’re like, "Oh man, I went to vote and my voting place was not there." All right, before you go vote—I’m going to say this again—before you go vote, check scvotes.gov. That’s scvotes.gov. That—and even that could have some mistakes on it, okay? So just make sure that you know exactly where to vote. The polls close at 7:00 tonight. Now remember, if you are in line at 7:00, you still get to vote. So don’t just, you know, start walking toward your car or anything like that. You guys stay in line and make sure you cast your vote today. I don’t know what the voter turnout is like this afternoon and what it was like this morning. So you guys let me know: what were you seeing in your district? "Charlie, who is your top two? Ah, my top two. How do I think this thing is going to go?" Well, I’ll tell you how I think it’s going to go. I think it’s going to go a lot like the new Trafalgar poll, which I’ll tell you about in just a second. "Charlie, so if you’re in Travelers Rest, you need to vote at Travelers Rest City Hall. Charlie, I was 126 and my husband was 162 in Travelers Rest." There you go. So, there is a new Trafalgar poll out. And here is the way it breaks down right now: Darlene Graham Nardone: 26% of the vote Ralph Norman: 20% of the vote Russell Fry: 18% Mark Sanford: 18% Mark Lynch: 7% Now, I don’t know the plus or minus on this, the margin of error, I’m not really sure about that. But I mean—and we’ve said it before—second place is not a bad place to be in an election, because it sets you up pretty well for the upcoming runoff. I mean, if you just look, if she just took, my goodness, 3% from Russell Fry, 3% from Sanford, 2% from Lynch... well, if Ralph Norman took those, well, that’s—because basically the leader in the polls, those are your votes. That’s what you’re going to get, unless something really weird happens, something strange happens, some new evidence comes out against your opponent or anything like that. That’s pretty much where you are right there, because all of those other people, that 74% of people, were actually—I mean, quite possibly—voting against you. Not only were they voting for your opponent, but they were voting against you. Now, whether or not that’s true in this case, we will absolutely have to see. Have to see what goes on. But again, those polls close at 7:00 tonight. We will be here until 8:00 this evening, going to be bringing you these election results. I really—I think they’re going to come in pretty darn quickly, mainly because if we do have low voter turnout. What I do believe is that by 8:00, we will have a very good handle on exactly what this runoff election is going to look like. So we’ll see. "Hey Charlie, I want to know how a nobody came out of nowhere and all of a sudden is supposed to be like the most popular following someone most people didn’t like?" I know, crazy, right? "Charlie, I live in Simpsonville, went to vote around 7:30 this morning, I was number 24." Well, that’s pretty early. "Charlie, 286 at Taylors Precinct at 13:30." All right, very good. "Spartanburg East Side precinct: 198 so far." "Charlie, I voted this morning 9:30, Woodruff Road church just east of 14, I was number 48 at 9:30." So, we’ll see. "Charlie, we have steady at the election poll out of 1,153 registered voters for our district, we have 46 voting so far." So we’ll see.
