Well, there—there's been... we've had a hero out there, uh, for the past, what, almost a week now, that maybe we didn't even know about. This hero was just silently doing what they thought was right amidst unbelievable amounts of pressure and controversy. We don't know who this juror was that stood their ground and said, "No. I am not going to acquit this woman, Lindsay Clancy, of the murder of her children. I am not going to acquit her, I believe she is guilty." And that man stood his ground. When all of that pressure was going on, and all of those other jurors were—were—were coming down on him, and they were like, "Oh, and you're not listening to what we're telling you! You're not listening to us, you're—you're not paying attention!" No, I'm paying attention. I know what's going on. Now the idea—and even—even the—the—the, uh, Kevin Reddington, the—the, uh, defense lawyer, I mean, he was doing everything he could to out this guy. Everything he possibly could. But this guy stood his ground. Imagine the stress and the pressure that this juror was going under. And today, the Lindsay Clancy trial ended in a mistrial. Because one juror did the right thing. One juror did the right thing. Good. Good for you, sir. I don't know who you are, I don't know your name, and I'll be honest with you, I hope I never do know your name. But they're going to find out who this guy is. They're going to find out. You see, we do have heroes in the world today, but we've also got some villains out there, and they are numerous. Joining us right now is... is Jon on hold? Okay, joining us right now is author Peachy Keenan, the author of a new book called Supervillains. Peachy joins us right now. Ms. Keenan, welcome to the program. Hope you're doing well. Peachy Keenan: I'm doing great, thank you so much! How are you? Charlie James: I'm doing fantastic! Tell us a little bit about your book Supervillains, because I tell you, I love the cover. I think it's great, it looks like an old Marvel comic, and you've really got these, uh, these villains laid out nicely. Tell us about the book. Peachy Keenan: Yeah, we took a—we took a comic book villain approach to figuring out, um, well, over the last few years, we've noticed that—and you've probably noticed, and so have your listeners—a lot of people and a lot of institutions have seemed to be working against regular people, and, uh, capturing our institutions. Everything from education to Big Pharma, um, your kids' schools, the media, entertainment, all these things. And it kind of gets to be overwhelming, and so this book was my attempt at kind of categorizing them, kind of making a taxonomy of who are these people, what are their names, let's raise some awareness, and have a little fun doing it. Charlie James: And it—it looks like it's a lot of fun. Now, you also—the, uh, the subtitle is Architects of America's Decline. I mean, there are—and a lot of people don't understand, that's not hyperbole. These people literally want this country to go under. Peachy Keenan: Yeah, and you're seeing these cr- these crazy alliances. Um, you're seeing feminists linking up with, um, radical Islamists. Yeah, and they're all—the—the communists are linking up with whoever they can find who's going to—who's anti-American, and that just seems to be the common thread. They don't like America, and they do not like Americans. And they want to get rid of us, and change the country as quickly as possible. Charlie James: What I've noticed is they don't like us, they don't like our culture, they don't like our, uh, you know, our—our economic, um, uh, status, but they do like our money. Peachy Keenan: Oh, yeah! They—they absolutely love our money. Charlie James: So, uh, give us a little rundown of all of these, um, I—I, you know, types of villains that we have. Peachy Keenan: Yeah, so ...
