Charlie James: All right, welcome to the program on your Monday afternoon. It is debate day, ladies and gentlemen! By the way, hope you had a great weekend. Um, uh, I know Sheila and I did, absolutely. Yep, it is debate night, ladies and gentlemen! [laughs] And we have got five candidates going to be on stage tonight at 7:00, and they're going to be telling you why they should be the next Senator from the great state of South Carolina. Now, um, we—that's not the only people that we have in the running for this thing. So, I guess whoever it is that's putting this on, uh, the powers that be, quote-unquote, um, they decided that these were the people that were going to be on the debate stage: Senator Darline Graham—the Senate heir from South Carolina—uh, Representative Russell Fry, who will be on the show tomorrow afternoon, Mark Lynch will be on on the dais, Representative Ralph Norman, and Congressman—former Congressman Mark Sanford, and former Governor Mark Sanford will be, uh, there as well. So, will we actually get to hear anything...? How many—I wonder, is anybody doing any bingo cards for the debate tonight? Somebody needs to do a bingo card. Um, how many times Darline Graham is going to talk about her being endorsed by President Trump. You think—how many times did... I mean, yeah, yeah, yeah! Yeah! How many times do you think she's going to bring up her brother? Anybody? Yeah, it's probably good, yeah. Did you see the absolute puff piece with Trey Gowdy and Darline Graham? There—I was just sitting there going, "Ask—ask an actual question. Could you ask an actual question? Could you just do an actual question?" Somebody... what is she going to do? [imitating Darline Graham] "Well... I'm going to vote... Now, I know Lindsey... Lindsey was all about... foreign policy..." And I was like, [groans] [laughs]. Let's speed it up just a little bit there. Let's speed it up just a little bit there. So, but absolutely—we got nothing. We got nothing! And the—and what gets me regularly is this: If she were not Lindsey Graham's sister... I got—I got a friend of mine down in Charleston, and she's like, "Oh! Oh, don't worry about experience." Actually, she's British: "Don't worry about experience. Um, actually, uh, she's got a great staff behind her." Well, wait a minute. Hold on. Hold on! I'm not—I'm not voting for the staff. You mean these unelected people who are not accountable to anybody... they're the ones that are going to be making all the decisions for Darline Graham? I don't think so! That's not exactly what I'm looking for. I'm not voting for people who've got the best staff. I'm voting for the people who have the best ideas! And as of right now, we don't know a lot about... her ideas. That's right. If you were voting for someone with the best staff, I would be the winner every single time, every single time. Because J.J. is just absolutely, absolutely amazing. So, we got that going. Even—even Meg Kinnard over at the Associated Press—who, by the way, is no conservative—but still, she's like, "Hey, wait a minute, when are you going to answer questions?" Now, why would Meg Kinnard say that? Because Darline Graham—oh, my goodness! She posted something about Dr. Fauci, um, and it was—it was like, "I wish Dr. Fauci would just answer a question." It was something like that. And I thought, "Yeah! How about that?" Wouldn't that be something, to actually answer a—why don't you come on some sort of local media, even state media? Even state media! And answer some questions. But no, she goes on with Sean Hannity, she goes on with Trey Gowdy, and that's it. Okay, well, there you go. So, we're—we were supposed to find out today whether or not everybody that was eliminated from the list, right? So, you had, um, you had Darius Mitchell, and you had Danny Ford, Jr.—or Danny Ford II.
