So, coming up in just a second, we're going to talk about these Biden tapes. Remember when Jack Smith was going after Donald Trump because of all the, you know, what he said was classified information? And remember when they found all of the classified information at Joe Biden's, what, Penn Station? They found it at his—at his house in, in, uh, New Hampshire and all these places? Well, now it turns out that Joe Biden actually shared classified information with his ghostwriter from his home when he was writing the book that just came out. So, we'll tell you about that coming up in just a second. If we... oh, there we got... now we got Pam back. Pam, welcome back! What's... what's going on in Shelby? Pam: Thank you! Well, it just seems they're changing the speed limits on all the country roads from 55 to 45. And it just got changed in front of my house last week, and I called the DOT to ask why. And, um, I just got some very varying answers. Um, I was told that, you know, there's supposed to be a study done, um, that has like three or four components before a speed limit's changed. You know, you get speeding tickets for not going the speed limit. Um, and it's pretty—pretty serious in my mind. Um, but also I heard that if there's a lot of complaints about people driving fast on a road, that they'll go ahead and just change the speed limit without doing the study, which I hope is not true, because if I get a speeding ticket and I'm going, you know, in the range between 45 and 55 on one of those roads, I'm going to have a major problem with them if they've not done a study like they're supposed to do. Charlie James: Yeah! Yeah, absolutely right. Do you find that speed limits are too low in general? Pam: Well, I was fine. You know, they used to have the—the phrase "Drive 55, Save Lives, Drive 55." And I thought that was great, you know, for gas mileage and XYZ. So, I really just think it's a bunch of stuff they feed us, probably. I don't—I don't know what their rhyme or reason is, but I have called, um, Ted Alexander's office, I've called Paul Scott's office, I did call Kelly Hastings' office—these are all people at our state level, and he's not even my—my person, but they—they were... they answered the phone and told me they would contact DOT for me and ask the question, but I haven't heard back from anybody. So, it's just a—an annoyance, because it's not like I'm a speeder, but don't change the speed limit on me without giving me a good reason why you're doing it. Charlie James: Yeah! That's a—that's a real good point there, I appreciate it, Pam. Thank you very much. They were actually talking about going from 55 to 75 in North Carolina. I, you know... well, you know, I mean, cars today, I mean, they're—they're just better. I mean, I think overall—I know you might not think it, but I think just in general, drivers are better than they used to be. I mean, have you ever driven like, if you—you ever, I don't know, you're going somewhere, maybe you're going 75 or something, and then you have to slow down to 55, and you go, "Good gracious, I feel like I can just ste ...
