Charlie James: All right, welcome back to the program. Let's go to the WORD talk line. We'll talk to Patrick Henry 2.0 in Gray Court. How you doing, Patrick? Caller (Patrick): Hey Charlie, how's it going? Charlie James: Going good, man. What's going on? Caller (Patrick): Uh, I heard a cringey—I mean cringey—Russell Fry ad this morning, and it said—the first thing he said was, "I grew up in a cinder block house with no air conditioning." Okay, well I'm going to go vote for you right now. Oh, okay, okay. Like, what in the world, man? Charlie James: It's like they're out—everybody's trying to out-poor each other. Caller (Patrick): Yeah, it's crazy. I mean, whatever. The other one is, uh, when, uh, Darline Graham Nordone was doing those ads for Lindsey Graham, I thought that was weird. Does anybody else think that's weird? I mean, uh... Charlie James: Somebody that we had ne—we didn't know—there I'll guarantee you before that ad a lot of people in South Carolina didn't even know Lindsey had a sister. Caller (Patrick): No, I mean I didn't either. Uh, no offense, I mean, come on, I mean... Charlie James: And then all of a sudden she pops up and now she's the Senate heir... Caller (Patrick): Yeah, it's... Charlie James: ...of South Carolina? No, it is, Patrick. I appreciate it, buddy. Thank you. Let me go to Toby in Clinton. How you doing, Toby? Caller (Toby): Hey! I got two real quick questions. One is, uh, Senators don't have auto-pens, do they? Since, uh, her handlers are probably going to be making all the decisions for her. Charlie James: Yeah, right? Right. Caller (Toby): Yeah. Uh, cause she's still real big green, and I'm pretty sure Mr. Don—I mean, I love our President, God knows I do, but he'll probably have a little input on how she votes. And, um, the second question is, all the tariff money that's been coming in, I Googled it, which I don't know if Google's correct or not, they say that all the money's going into the General Fund. I know here lately they've been talking about Social Security, and in several years we're going to probably be in some kind of trouble. Can they take some of those trillions of dollars that's coming in and put it back in the Social Security piggy bank since they've been dipping in it all these years? Charlie James: I—I—I wish they would. I wish they could. Because I mean, but that's one of those things they always try to scare us with, is Social Security. But just stop touching it. Don't touch it. Get the people that aren't supposed to be on it off of the rolls, and then there would be enough money for, uh, actual American citizens. I appreciate it, Toby. Thank you very much. So, Meg Kinnard is—she's with the Associated Press, but she's here in South Carolina. She's with their, um, their press office here. Even so, um, it was, I guess it was yesterday or a couple days ago, uh, Darline Graham put this out on X: "I think Anthony Fauci should stop staring at the floor and answer the damn questions." Kind of ironic, huh? So then Meg Kinnard with the AP said, "Respectfully, at some point the junior Senator from South Carolina will need to do the same. Lindsey Graham didn't shy away from the press, he always took questions, returned calls, etc., and still won. Hopefully, whoever is telling her to avoid us will remember that." So it's not only like this radio station that she's avoiding, it's not only the—I mean it's even up to the South Carolina Associated Press. Darline Graham is not even answering their calls. That should be—that's... mm, that's kind of scary to me. Let me go to Donna in Anderson. Donna, how are you? Caller (Donna): Hey, I already got a bingo card, Charlie! Charlie James: Okay! Caller (Donna): I've got three issues on her real quick. This is so easy. Number one, she said that her brother was for foreign, uh, policy, but she's for affordability.
