Charlotte Crop Walk 2021

from Mattacritic Podcast · host Matthew Hemenway

Hey everyone, Matthew Hemenway here. I have been involved with Crop Walk for 3 decades. I have been involved with it since 1990. I have been raising money for Crop Walk for a long time. The Walk will take place on November 7, 2021, in Charlotte, NC. I took a break from it because I needed to recharge my batteries because of trying to recruit. I still gave to it for the 2 years I did not raise any money which was in 2012 and 2013. I believe it to be a worthy cause, and I know in my heart that it is worth doing. Most of us would not know what it would be like to grow up without enough money to buy the food, water, clothes, and even shelter we need, but unfortunately there are those who do. Crop Walk means you walk a certain distance. I believe now it is between 3 and 4 miles. Last year, I did my walk on the Greenway and this year I will do the same because of COVID-19. If you would like to help, please consider giving whatever you can. Please be generous because you can give $5.00 does not mean you should. Please consider giving $50, $100, $500 or a $1,000 if you can. You can always choose the amount you plan to give. If you donate, thank you. Please share this video with your friends and family so that Crop Walk can be as successful as it can. I will leave a link to a page you can donate at the bottom of this video. I will also have you watch a video produced by Crop Walk to see what they do and why it is important to help this worthy cause. Thank you and have a wonderful day.Mattacritic is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber. Thanks for reading Mattacritic!
