Charlotte Youth Broadcasters

Our Camp encourages campers ages 9-12 and ages 13-18 how to work with each other using broadcast media and technology arts, while engaging with others in an increasingly connected world. They will learn the basic media tools in a fun collaborative environment which provides our youth with the skills to utilize the media technologies in a positive and productive way. This camp is a great way to break the fear of public speaking and will teach campers how to articulate. Campers will be able to tour newsrooms, create a series of hands-on media projects. This camp provides many possibilities of creative media making. Special Guest speakers within broadcasting such as Career News Reporters, Radio Host, Sports Reporters, and Journalists will drop by to speak and answer questions with the youth. Campers will work with live-action video, video-editing, interactive media and design, video/audio recording, and more. Every week-long camp ends with a screening and we encourage friends and family members to come watch 5:15-6pm.http://www.charlotteybc.com/
