Chase DeLauter Shines Despite Injury | Cleveland Guardians News

Chase DeLauter is crushing it despite a lingering hamstring issue, going 4-for-4 with two doubles and three runs scored while making a slick outfield play. After weeks of rehab work and trusting the training staff, he’s now ready to start full games — and his production since August (.363/.427/.618) has some calling him AL Player of the Month. A versatile hitter who thrives in the top of a potent lineup alongside Kwan and Ramirez, DeLauter’s focus remains on the team’s push, fueled by friendly rivalry with rookie Parker Messick.
