Chasing Amy

This week, Jackie and Danielle dive headfirst into the messy, complicated, and surprisingly philosophical waters of Chasing Amy—Kevin Smith’s 1997 rom-com that dared to ask: can a comic book bro really understand queer identity with enough monologues? Join them as they unpack the chaotic love triangle between Holden, Alyssa. Expect spirited debates, a healthy dose of side-eye for ‘90s relationship tropes, and more than one “Holden is the worst” moment. From dissecting Joey Lauren Adams’ powerhouse performance to asking if Jay and Silent Bob might be the wisest philosophers in the View Askewniverse, the hosts serve up pop culture realness with their signature nostalgia-fueled sass. And yes, they tackle the film’s dated takes with humor, grace, and the occasional scream into the void. So grab your flannel, dust off your VHS tape, and get ready for a rollercoaster of feelings, laughs, and one very awkward threesome proposal. ·Season 5 Episode 9 — No More Late Fees https://nomorelatefeespodcast.com 909-601-NMLF (6653) — Follow Us on Social: Instagram https://www.instagram.com/nomorelatefees TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@nomorelatefees Facebook https://www.facebook.com/nomorelatefees Youtube https://www.youtube.com/@nomorelatefees Twitter https://x.com/NoMoreLateFees — CONQUERing myconquering.com 10% Off Code: JACKIE10
