Chasing Amy

You’ve probably heard of Kevin Smith’s 1997 film Chasing Amy where Ben Affleck “turns” a lesbian, but if you’ve seen the film, you know that’s far from the truth. Because it’s actually a sincere, nuanced, and progressive look at sexuality, identity, and relationships. And our guest this week, the delightful Sav Rodgers, is not only THE expert on the film, but is also directing a documentary about it called Chasing Chasing Amy that looks at the film’s cultural legacy. So join us as we talk about the film, Sav’s TED Talk, pronouns, and so many more things under the big gay sun. Come ride the rainbow and enjoy!
