Chasing Amy (1997)
from Sequelcast 2 and Friends Hosted by Mat Bradley-Tschirgi
Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi and Thrasher discuss Chasing Amy. Holden (Ben Affleck) pines after Alyssa (Joey Lauren Adams). Less broad than Mallrats, Chasing Amy is a thoughtful romantic comedy. Yes, you still have characters obsessed with comic books and Star Wars, but writer-director Kevin Smith is digging a bit deeper here. Easily one of Smith's better films.
