Chasing Meaning; Finding Purpose In a Meaningless World

This is the first Chapel session of the year. Ecclesiastes 1:1-9 was the chapter considered, and it was written towards the end of Solomon's life. Pastor Sakalunda delivered a sermon titled "Chasing Meaning; Finding Purpose in a Meaningless World." He discussed Ecclesiastes, highlighting Solomon's search for meaning. The main points included the authorship by Solomon, the thesis that life under the sun is vanity, the wonder about the value of worldly gains, and the perspective of understanding life from both an earthly and divine view.
