Johann Hari has written for many top newspapers and magazines including the New York Times, Le Monde, the Guardian, the New Republic, the Nation, Slate, and the Sydney Morning Herald. In addition, Johann was also a columnist for the Independent, a British newspaper, for nine years. Hari has won several awards including National Newspaper Journalist of the Year by Amnesty International (twice), Gay Journalist of the Year at the Stonewall Awards.
