Barry and Abigail discuss Songs About Jane by Maroon 5 and sample “leftover” beers from previously reviewed breweries: Eau Melon from Intracoastal Brewing Company in Melbourne, Florida; Fall Shakecation from Mastry’s Brewing Co. in St. Pete Beach, Florida; and Double Vanilla Scoop Shake from 3 Sons Brewing Co. in Dania Beach, Florida. Abigail and Barry recognized similarities in the stories told in This Love and Twice as Hard by The Black Crowes. Abigail compared the chorus of The Sun to some of the lyrics in What I Did For Love from the musical A Chorus Line. The imagery in Must Get Out reminded Abigail of Love Comes Tumbling Down by Matt Nathanson. Double Vanilla Scoop Shake was a collaboration with Mikkeller, a brewery based in Copenhagen, Denmark, and featured Mostra Coffee (based in San Diego, California) as an ingredient.
