This episode features Dr. William Novick—an internationally-known cardiothoracic surgeon and the head of the Novick Cardiac Alliance, a nonprofit organization providing life-saving heart surgeries to children around the world.In this episode, Dr. Novick shares the names of some specific congenital heart defects (they are commonly referred to as "holes in the heart") and the treatment used to help people born with these heart defects survive and thrive.
