Check. Check. Check. Holy Mother. What have I done?

Today is just a check in. This is a quick episode to pause, catch my breath mid stride, and give you my current status. If I define adventures as capacity expanding experiences, this trip has been an adventure, and this podcast is being recorded at the moment of expansion. This is the moment where I am crossing a threshold from an old version of me into this new version. Folks, it is a bumpy ride, and I am grateful for the experience, and also wondering a little bit what it was that I was thinking. I have been so focused on how to get here with a cat, I have only just begun to realize what it is I have signed up for. The first little niggles of doubt are sinking in. Am I really going to renovate a boat? Will I be able to navigate tides and currents let alone the north sea?
