Check in Q&A #50

from The Personal Trainer Mentor Academy Podcast · host Nik And Ant - PTMA Podcast

PT Business Transformation Program now LIVE to sin up and find out more Click here! Questions covered this week include;  What should the success rate of signing clients up through a consultation be? In your opinion, what is the best question to have on a check-in form? How do you compromise between your price for the service you think should be provided vs what they can afford? I did a consultation and had an idea of what they needed, but they could only afford maybe 3/4 of the price. Some ideas would really help thanks guys From going through the process of talking to someone, getting them on a consult call and then making them a client. How do you get round the questions about pricing, I had a women ask 4 times even though I had gone through how the consultation works, etc I need to work on my retention I cant get many client's staying past 3 months I understand their results could be better so maybe there's a disconnect but I would love if client's literally brought there pals into my business and didn't need to drive marketing as crazy because people know who I am and what I do! Are there any further education courses you would recommend? Main areas I’m thinking of are behaviour change/psychology related or anything women specific Can we do a gin post level up if I make the trip? ? Is it common place, as the days get longer for ~6months, to plan in extra activities away from gym floor 1-2-1's? Such as group programmes etc? "Q1: ""True leaders don't do; we be"" Mo Gawdat. Heard this quote on a podcast the other day and it struck a chord with me.  I once felt the magic of being in this place with my coaching (and client's progress during this time was amazing!) but feel I have lost it again...So how can I stop ""doing"" and simply relax to ""be""? (We obvs have to work hard, but I think it's more to do with the expectations I place on myself - a client is paying me loads so I must deliver so they get value for money.  Check ins, programming, monthly reviews, communities, assessments etc).  But many don't seem to want all the extra faff.  Q2: I've noticed the longer I do this job, the more I talk, and the less I listen, which I don't like... Is this because the nature of the role is selling?  Marketing?  Teaching?  How do you really make yourself shut up and listen without feeling awkward?  Thanks" If I want to change platforms (from True Coach to something else) how can I do it so that it's a smooth process for me and my clients with minimum disruption?
