Cheers to Fort Worth: Whiskey, Music, and Urban Vibrancy

Send us Fan MailAs the laughter from Visit Fort Worth's last annual meeting still echoes in my ears, we sit back and recount the tales that have given our city its rhythm. Lou Charles, the heartbeat of the Fort Worth music scene, gets a special nod alongside a our potential golf cart race shenanigans. We revel in the diversity of our local music backdrop, from squeeze box serenades, painting a picture of a night that encapsulates the vibrant spirit of Fort Worth. From there, our conversation takes a reflective turn with Trevor, a homegrown talent who's navigating the waters of music release in the digital age. Trevor's insights into his process and the scene at large are as refreshing as an Espresso Martini from one of chef Tim Love's after-parties. We get candid about the fashion statements that cycle through our streets and discuss the community's pulse felt at events like Black Coffee's Latte Art Throwdown, all while weaving in personal anecdotes that'll have you feeling like part of the Fort Worth family.Wrapping up, we swap studio mics for a toast to the local sound guys who make every live show an experience and the anticipation for more nightlife vibrancy with venues like the Low Down. Our parting words come with the clink of glasses as we bid farewell in the same way we live: full of music, laughter, and an unyielding love for the city that's more than a backdrop—it's a character in every story we tell. Cheers to that, Fort Worth!CALL OR TEXT OUR HOTLINE AND LEAVE US A MESSAGE! 817-677-0408Fort Worth MagazineBest of 2022 - Radio Personality/Podcast (Reader's Pick) Show LinksThe Funky PantherMerchYouTube
