Chelsea Chase Lacroix Amid Transfer Talks | Chelsea F.C. News

Chelsea are in heated talks to sign Crystal Palace’s standout defender Maxence Lacroix, with Chelsea offering £55m and Palace holding out for £60m—performance bonuses could be the key to closing the deal. Talks are reportedly underway at the highest levels, even with Chelsea co-owner and Palace chairman meeting in New York. Palace is already scouting replacements for Lacroix, who joined from Germany for £18m and has been a rock this season. Meanwhile, Chelsea’s defensive reshuffle could be accelerated if Trevoh Chalobah departs for Inter Milan or Como—Chelsea have already rejected a Como offer. The Blues are also active across the pitch, having brought in Morgan Rogers and eyeing other potential exits this summer.
