Chelsea Locking Down Sol Gordon | Chelsea F.C. News

Chelsea is on the verge of locking down rising star Sol Gordon, the winger who exploded onto the scene last season and has now drawn interest from Arsenal, Leeds, and international clubs. With his contract expiring in 2027 and having grown through the academy since age eight, Gordon’s standout performances—including a heroics in the Under-18 Premier League National Final—have convinced first-team coaches he’s a cornerstone of their future. While rivals circle, Chelsea is pushing hard to secure his long-term commitment, and Gordon appears ready to stay. Meanwhile, fellow winger Jesse Derry, who attracted Bayern Munich’s attention, has signed a new deal and is on loan at Sporting Lisbon to gain vital experience—another key piece in Chelsea’s youth development puzzle.
