Chelsea Target Chavarría for Left-Back | Chelsea F.C. News

Chelsea is targeting 28-year-old left-back Pep Chavarría from Rayo Vallecano to bolster their defense, with new coach Xabi Alonso reportedly pushing hard for the move. Chavarría delivered a solid La Liga season with 33 appearances, a goal, and assists — exactly the consistency Chelsea needs after losing Marc Cucurella. Talks are already underway between the clubs, making this a fast-moving, high-stakes transfer.
