Chelsea Target Stones for Defense | Chelsea F.C. News

Chelsea are eyeing John Stones as a free agent to bolster their defense under new manager Xabi Alonso, who wants leadership and experience in a three-man backline. Stones, with World Cup caps and a trophy-laden City career, could make an instant impact — though he’s weighing options, including interest from Juventus, Inter Milan, and other Premier League clubs. Meanwhile, Chelsea are also targeting Crystal Palace’s Maxence Lacroix for around £55m, while current defenders Benoit Badiashile and Trevoh Chalobah are drawing attention from Italian sides like Napoli, Como, and Inter.
