Chelsea Target Stones for Defense | Chelsea F.C. News

Chelsea eye free agent John Stones to fortify their defense ahead of the new season, aiming to fix last year’s defensive woes under new manager Xabi Alonso. At 32, Stones brings elite experience, six Premier League titles, and a Champions League crown with Manchester City — plus versatility to play multiple roles. His arrival could clear spots for young talents like Sarr and Acheampong to go on loan. With Lacroix also in the mix, Chelsea are building a revamped backline that could position them as genuine title contenders.
