Chelsea’s Perfect Start Crumbles | Chelsea F.C. News

Chelsea’s perfect start under new manager Enzo Alonso hit a bump after a 2-1 loss to Arsenal, snapping their three-game winning streak. Cole Rogers scored the opener but the team couldn’t hold on, marking their first real setback. Rogers emphasized it’s still early days—only their fourth game together—and stressed the focus remains on integrating Alonso’s tactics and building rhythm. Despite the defeat, he praised the squad’s effort, resilience, and moments of quality in a tough away match. The rapid adoption of Alonso’s system has been impressive, with players showing strong character in adapting. Ahead, Chelsea must bounce back quickly, with key fixtures and fitness concerns for Reece James looming as tests of their new project’s durability.
