Summary
"Everything we think we are on the outside is not really who we are." Welcome Chelsey Ashford, photographer, growth junkie, and agent of love to the show. She asked me to help with her podcast, then we started chatting for a couple hours. We decided to start recording it because there was some good stuff happening! We didn’t know if we would release it, but here it is. Because it’s dope. The theme of this conversation is love, and not just romantic love, But love at the deepest root. For ourselves, for all people, for all things. What we have learned and are learning about 'being' love. When we’re tempted to be hateful or reject someone, to choose love and compassion instead. We also discuss how I’ve been motivated by death lately and what's been testing her ego. It’s quite intense, so come back and listen if you’re not in the mood for a talk about love, the universe, the ego, death, spirituality, and some crazy cool ideas. You should know by now, that I don't release surface level conversations. You better bring your scuba gear when it's Goalink Show time. We're going deep! CHALLENGE: This week's challenge is inspired by Dr. Nicole LePera aka The Holistic Psychologist: do you want to create a new version of yourself? Do you want to self heal? Is there a thought or emotional pattern that you want to change? Try 5 days of future self journaling this week. It's a GAME CHANGER. To change our behavior, we have to become conscious to our subconscious behavior. By being present and aware of our habit loops, we can start to shift them. I will be documenting my process and sharing it with you. As always, I invite you to do the same. There are a few ways you can report back once you complete the challenge. You can post on Facebook or Instagram using #goalinkchallenge, tag us in your stories or use The Goalink Hotline. The hotline is designed for those who want to remain anonymous (or don’t have social media) but still desire a form of accountability. To use the hotline call (385) 626-0525 and follow the instructions.
