Cherbourg | Jerusalem Plank Road | Kolb's Farm

We continue on with the Siege of Petersburg as well as the Atlanta Campaign. But first, we have a 1v1 ship battle just off the coast of Cherbourg, France. On June 19th, the USS Kearsarge followed the CSS Alabama to a French port. When it was clear that the Kearsarge wasn't leaving, the Alabama was escorted out of French waters where the battle between the two ships would commence.  Next up is the battle of Jerusalem Plank Road on June 21st-22nd in Petersburg Virginia. The Union's aim was to extend their siege lines to the west and cut the rail lines that supplied Petersburg.  We end the episode with the battle of Kolb's Farm of the Atlanta Campaign on June 22nd. Confederate Lt. Gen.
