At age 18, he was the youngest member of the U.S. Equestrian Team for the World Pairs Driving Championship and, later, the first American to win a Silver Medal for the U.S. in the Four in Hand FEI World Driving Championships. He has been recognized as USEF Equestrian of Honor twice and now co-presides over the largest combined driving and show jumping tournament in the U.S., Live Oak International, with his niece, Chloe Reid.
