The CFB season has come to a close, CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND IS HERE!!! SELECTION SUNDAY AND PLAYOFF MADNESS IS HAPPENING!!! Welcome back to an extended episode of CCT where we dove into some scores and stats from around the world of CFB. In our CFB news segment we thoroughly discussed the 12-team playoff, the differences from last year, how the rankings, seeding, and byes work. On that same note we ran through Tuesday's CFP poll and the criteria the CFP committee uses to rank the teams. I ran through my predictions of the 12 teams to make the playoff this Sunday as well as the 5 potential teams competing for the final spot. We highlighted Duke's miraculous way to an ACC title berth via the 5th listed ACC tiebreaker and then took a never-ending whirl on the coaching carousel. Lane Kiffin to LSU, Pat Fitzgerald to Michigan State, Billy Napier to JMU, Penn State still without a coach, and much more in the wildest coaching cycle ever.
