Chi Omega Nightmares: How One Campus Murder Exposed Ted Bundy's Threat

After the brutal killings of Margaret Bowman and Lisa Levy on a quiet night in January 1978, Florida State University’s Chi Omega sorority house became the backdrop for a national manhunt that would see Ted Bundy arrested, escape twice, and be tried in two Florida trials. This episode examines how witnesses, forensic evidence, and media attention converged to expose the killer, while also reflecting on the lasting impact on victims’ families and the lessons learned about campus safety and inter‑state law enforcement.
