Chicago man going to prison for selling fentanyl, heroin and crack cocaine

In August 2025, Jason R. Spinks of the Lawndale neighborhood, was texted by an undercover agent with the DuPage Metropolitan Enforcement Group, wanting to purchase narcotics. Attorney General Kwame Raoul says that over the next several weeks, Spinks sold the agent fentanyl, heroin, heroin mixed with fentanyl and crack-cocaine at locations in Cook and DuPage counties. This week, a judge sentenced the 43-year-old Spinks to 10 years in prison.
