Chicago just endured another bloody Labor Day weekend, with shootings once again driving up the city’s crime rate. Instead of addressing the problem directly, Democrats deflect by pointing to “red state crime,” ignoring that it’s still blue cities fueling those numbers. There is a straightforward solution to the violence however, Trump already showed it. In Washington, D.C., he proved that calling in the National Guard can restore order. Chicago deserves the same treatment.
