Chicago rapper Twista pleads guilty to not paying income taxes

​A court document filed this month reveals that Twista---whose real name is Carl Mitchell---has agreed to pay more than $444,000 in restitution to the U.S. government. ​That money represents income tax liabilities, interest and penalties for the years 2011 through 2023. The court document states Mitchell faces up to five years in prison for the charges against him. Sentencing is scheduled for October 22nd.
